Professional Development

The Agrologists Act, 1994 section 4(c) places responsibility on the Saskatchewan Institute of Agrologists "to ensure the proficiency and competency of Agrologists." Professional development is the acquisition of knowledge and skill which enhances an Agrologist’s competence as a practising professional. Professional agrologists and agricultural technologists are required to maintain their competency by obtaining a minimum of 150 hours of professional development over a 3 year period.
